Today we are performing a lower body lift on a patient who's lost 167 pounds of weight. She used to be at about 290 pounds, so she's a fraction of what she used to be. She's had a prior abdominoplasty somewhere else, then she presented to me and we did a thigh reduction first for her. And now she's ready to have her lower body lift with revision of her abdominoplasty incision. Her results are very good, so I'm not gonna redo her tummy tuck. She doesn't need it. All we're gonna do is to lift her pubic area and to lower the tummy tuck incision, as I'm lifting the front of the thighs and the outer thighs. What bothers her the most is probably this fold here, more than her lower body, I think. So it's a really difficult correction because your thigh lift will really work from here to probably about here. And then from here, it makes a very minor correction. But we'll do our best to see if we can actually yank this higher today and help her out. I think this one also has one, but it's not as bad, so we'll see what we can do for both of those issues. On this side you'll see how much we're cutting out. This is her tummy tuck incision. We're gonna be removing this much of waist skin, this much of the outer thigh skin, bringing these together. Our incision is probably gonna end up being in a very similar location. We're gonna do a little bit of touch-up liposuction. And let me just cover you up a little bit. And on the back, we're gonna do our typical buttock enhancement, buttock lift, excision of lower back skin, excision of upper buttock skin, using the fat in between these two incisions to augment her buttocks as we are lifting it, and then trying to put some fat into the lower buttocks as a buttock fat transfer approach.

So I'm seeing one of our patients. She's back after her lower body lift that was performed about six weeks ago. Prior to that, we had started her journey with a thigh reduction with a vertical thighplasty incision, which I will be showing. But you are now looking at her after her lower body lift that was done six weeks ago. And she's healing remarkably well. And I'm gonna show you her incisions. There you go, and the back perfectly placed at the junction between the lower back and the upper buttocks, and we used all of the fat that we had on her and transferred that into her buttocks, so we have a modest buttock augmentation, but I think that's exactly what she wanted, right? Yes. Yes, and on the front, just hug it, yeah, put your arms on the back. She's got a beautiful, oh, we did a tummy tuck revision, actually, because she had had a tummy tuck prior to us. But you can see how well she's healing, and with the process of the lower body lift, obviously we changed the shape of her tummy, so she's now got definition. We did a pubic lift. We lifted the front of the thighs. We lifted the outer thighs and the buttock you saw. And may I see the scars from your thigh reduction? And these are the scars from the thigh reduction that we performed the past six, seven months ago? May. Yeah, May of this year. So healing remarkably well. And what do you think? Amazing. I love it. I'm so happy for you. Thank you very much. Thank you. Yeah.
