Patient Details
This patient in his mid-20s came to Dr. Siamak Agha at The Aesthetic Centers in Newport Beach seeking a more defined and masculine chest. He had longstanding gynecomastia that did not improve with weight change, exercise, or time, and he felt the fullness across the chest did not reflect how he wanted to look or feel.
To address this, Dr. Agha performed gynecomastia correction with excision of the breast tissue through a tiny areolar incision. Using a small-access liposculpting approach, he then removed excess fatty tissue from the anterior and lateral chest regions while maintaining smooth transitions along the pectoral borders.
During surgery, approximately 750 mL of fat was removed from each side to flatten and sculpt the chest while enhancing the natural pectoral contour. This technique allows the chest to be reduced and reshaped without creating visible scars across the breast area or flattening the underlying muscle structure, maintaining a strong and balanced silhouette.
Postoperatively, the chest appears flatter, firmer, and more defined, with improved symmetry and contour from all angles. The result is natural yet significant—the chest now reflects a masculine shape without looking over-corrected or surgically enhanced.
This case highlights how Dr. Agha’s approach to gynecomastia correction blends reduction and sculpting, achieving results that look authentic to the patient’s own anatomy while enhancing overall body confidence.
