This patient in his late 40s came to Dr. Siamak Agha at The Aesthetic Centers in Newport Beach seeking to improve the shape and definition of his chest. He had noticed that fullness across the chest created a softer, less defined appearance that did not match how he felt about his body.
To refine the chest contour, Dr. Agha performed male breast reduction through chest liposculpting. Using a combination of controlled liposuction techniques, he removed excess fatty tissue from the chest and breast region, carefully sculpting along the natural pectoral borders to enhance definition.
During surgery, approximately 1200 mL (1.2 liters) of lipoaspirate was removed, primarily from the front of the torso, to create a more sculpted and balanced chest contour. This approach allows for chest reduction without removing or flattening the natural muscle structure, maintaining a strong and balanced profile.
His post-operative photos, taken 1 year after surgery, show a noticeably firmer, flatter, and more sculpted chest, with improved contour visible from both the front and side views. The final shape appears natural and proportional, providing the patient with a more athletic look that aligns with his physique.
This case highlights how precision-based chest reduction can restore confidence and create a more defined silhouette through subtle but impactful refinement.
