Patient Details
This patient in her early 40s turned to Dr. Siamak Agha at The Aesthetic Centers in Newport Beach seeking improvement after an earlier Tummy Tuck performed elsewhere. She was most concerned with two issues that often occur after suboptimal abdominoplasty results: a high, visible incision and a persistent upper abdominal roll that created a shelf-like appearance above the waist. Combined with residual lower-abdominal fullness, these concerns affected the overall continuity of her abdominal contour.
To correct this, Dr. Agha performed a full Tummy Tuck Redo focused on reshaping both the lower and upper abdomen. He began by refining the upper abdominal roll with conservative liposuction to soften the transition between the ribcage and belly—an essential step in restoring a balanced abdominal contour. He then addressed the lower abdomen by performing a full Tummy Tuck again to lower the abdominal incision to a more aesthetic position.
During the same operation, she also had 300 cc of liposuction from the waist, 150 cc from each inner thigh, and 1,400 cc of liposuction from the upper and lower back, along with 350 cc of fat transfer to each buttock (BBL)—enhancing body harmony without detracting from the primary abdominal goals.
Her postoperative photos show a flatter abdomen, a softer upper abdominal contour, and a lower, smoother incision that aligns naturally with her waist and hips. This transformation highlights how addressing both the lower abdomen and the upper abdominal roll is key to achieving a cohesive, refined Tummy Tuck Revision.
